"Domestic Terrorists" is a perfect description of the GOP under the Trump Cult. That is beginning to explain a pattern of disturbing upsets. Jane, thank you for your honesty and courage to speak out. I switched parties in 2008 and I haven’t looked back once. I’m grateful you’re with us and it couldn’t happen at a more crucial time. The importance of voting blue in this election is paramount. I’ve never felt more invested in politics as I have this year. I’m no historian, but I’m glad I’ve been paying attention the last several years! Jane, welcome onboard the Blue Wave! 🇺🇸💙
Thank you for your candor, Jane. I'm a registered Democrat who donated to Liz Chaney's congressional campaign to show my support for her spirit, fighting to preserve the country and the Constitution. We're all Americans, and we're all in this together now.
I was an “I like Ike” baby, whose parents both served in WWII and would not believe that their party had embraced a man who tried to overthrow a legitimate election. Thank you for keeping an open mind— though I’m a registered Democrat, I worked in the Reagan Administration and was close friends with some on his VP’s staff. We are the normal ones: we can disagree on public policy, but we value consensus, the rule of law and our constitution. Voting blue is the only patriotic option we have.
Happy to read your post! And, so glad that people my age are being called young — This election has shown us, we can be from different parties but agree that democracy is good, and Harris will be a great president.
Hi Jane! Hope you saw not only all the thumbs up you got but all the thumbs up I got on your behalf! Everyone appreciates where your head is at re: the country over Felon45. Let’s hope for a win then hopefully we can all disagree about policy like adults again next general election.
I just wanted you to know so many people appreciate your stance and that the the thumbs up I got were really for you!
Now, now! Your right but now is not the time to start hacking at each other over such a small error. We have much bigger fish to fry and we need all hands on board. :-)))
Harris is an Ex Prosecutor. It’s Prosecutor VS Convicted Felon.
Does anyone see the possible irony that a Black Ethnic woman will defeat Trump? For those saying a Black Woman cannot win. I heard the same comments when Barack Obama ran in 2008. Trump is a WEAK CANDIDATE. Harris WILL defeat him!
New candidate, same mission:
Beat Trump, make sure Project 2025 NEVER becomes law.
And MSM needs to START talking about Project 2025 right now. It needs more public exposure!
Here’s something for the underinformed: "The People’s Guide to Project 2025" 👇
Unless we wipe out racism in our own party, Kamala will have a difficult time but on the other hand she is ten times the person Trump is and much better qualified to be president! I sincerely hope those who carry tht stigma will think long and hard and look to where the future is going to be.....free or Fascist!
I am not a politico, but perhaps a winning strategy would be for Harris to go to her strength and PROSECUTE her opponent. He is so vulnerable on so many counts.
Not only do I support Harris but if top Dems do not get behind her and give her full support and show their typical self-infliction of wounds i will leave the party and just block all politics out of my life. I despise all Republicans from Nixon on. However, the behavior of self-important Dems disgusts me.
I first of all want to say Thank you to President Biden for being an honorable, honest and caring man. He is a true gentleman and patriot and his actions and deeds do not go unnoticed. I know he had to think hard about his exit, but he heavily endorsed VP Harris, who is a smart and caring individual who is a fighter for equal rights for women and everyone in our country.
Inflation is at 3%, not what Donald says it is. Donald was the worst President ever, not Joe Biden. Kamala Harris is not crazy, Donald is.
The Democrats need to take off the gloves and fist fight the Republicans with their own words, as nasty as that sounds. Show the American people that the Democrats have their interests in hand, not the Republicans.
The press and media need to grow something and truly report on the insanity of Donald's whining speeches.
Age isn’t off the table anymore. DT = oldest to ever run for potus. Those pics of him sleeping throughout his trial, and again at the RNC the other night, don’t bode well.
And, yes, hopefully the media WILL pay attn to him now. Like when he’s slurring through rallies, talking nonsensically, and short circuiting mid sentence. It bothered that the media was so surprised the other night w DT’s RNC speech. I have no idea why. He’s been doing the same things since 2016!
Kathyincali, you are right about it being strange that the media didn't expect what Trump delivered last week ad the RNC convention. It is because the media has not been really listening to Trump for years. He rarely has anything new to add to his "speeches," has no command of issues except his personal resentment for everyone who is not willing to bow and kiss something he holds as valuable. They have been so obsessed with breaking Biden down for his age, they publicly forgot Trump is Biden's age but less competent no matter what the anti-Biden forces would have people believe. Now it's time for Kamala Harris and a candidate she should choose to work with her, not because of their gender or some other feature but because that person would make a good partner since the work ahead is going to be really hard. Go Kamala, get the media to pay attention, for a change!
Or... they are supporting Trump, either from fear of repercussions to any of them that criticize him should he become president again (which they are facilitating), or because their corporate owners want their taxes even lower, the overall economy be damned.
James, how sad that we have so many cowards in our media and among Republicans these days. I know that is not the usual media position, but I guess when an industry goes corporate, the money becomes the only thing that matters. Yep, so sad!
I had avoided watching tv after Biden’s announcement but I wanted to see what Lawrence had to say because he always calms me down. Lawrence did that by saying that he firmly believed that Biden could have won because he had seen Biden overcome huge obstacles in the Senate. He used example of FDR - how well he led the country while sick, and compared Joe with him. After that debate Lawrence was not worried because he saw Biden giving the campaign speech next day and a masterful press conference on foreign policy. Lawrence’s words were soothing and sincere. His tone was not combative . He expressed his support for Harris. This meant a lot to me. Thank you Lawrence.
I feel sad that all that Joe had done after that debate was not enough for his detractors. They just didn’t like his age. They wanted a new shiny object. They essentially fired him based on One performance, because they wanted to, without any scruples.
Lawrence supported Kamala as the replacement. Biden again did a masterful job of making a smooth transition. It avoided a potential chaos at the convention.
Another person that believed in Biden is Mary Trump. I am grateful to her too.
At this point I feel that Biden was the best President in recent US history and the best human being. No other President had the level of calmness and compassion of Joe Biden. I had a hard time watching what was being done to him by his own party but he never said one negative word about any of them.
We are witnessing a very special person.
Unfortunately others don’t see his greatness. Their words sound hollow and superficial to me.
I think even Barack Obama came down ia notch in my esteem. He did not realize that Joe could have won. I am a nonbeliever in polls. I intensely dislike Pelosi at this point. I have not warmed up to Harris yet and I am not sure that I will. Lawrence played a speech by her. I found that I could not stand her voice. I never cared for it but now she is running for the highest position so I have higher expectations of her. I didn’t enjoy Biden’s speeches either (a few exceptions ) but I always appreciated how much he had accomplished by overcoming his stutter.
I don’t know if it is appropriate for me to say this but Joe Biden reminds me of Jesus. At the very least he is a very highly evolved being. The real test of a person is in the worst of times, not in the best times.
After his party did such a gross injustice to him, I was angry but he remained gracious. He is genuine. He doesn’t do this to gain votes or praise from others. It is just what he is. I respect him more than I can put into words. I think this crisis revealed his greatness to me.
What his party did to him must have been devastating. He fought for his right to run. He didn’t just roll over to surrender. I don’t really believe that ‘for the good of the country’ stuff that others are saying about it. It sounds fake to me because they are the people who destroyed him.
Biden did not hold it against them . He helped them through a very difficult situation and unified the party. When you compare him with Trump, it is like day versus night, good vs evil, and nay be Angel vs devil? Our country is very fortunate to have him as our leader.
Vash, I also stood with Biden until I learned while I was in a Zoom session of "progressives" on Sunday that Biden had resigned from the campaign. I, like you, really like Biden and think he is a truly remarkable human being and has been for decades. He did not deserve what certain members of the party and donors did to him. Biden proved over time that he can learn and grow when exposed to new ideas and that is rare. I do like Kamala Harris, though and she was right there with Biden all the way. She will never bad mouth Biden in any way because she actually does appreciate him and what she has learned over time working with him. I depend on people's voices for so much since I can't see people's expressions. I find her voice strident and purposeful telling me she has a lot to do and not much time. Some voices in the past that have bothered me: Richard Nixon from when I was a little kid. He sounded to me like he was always lying and had something to hide. I'd say the first time I was really aware of it was when I was 7. Then there was Ronald Reagan who always sounded as though he was talking down to people and thought he was better than everyone else. I didn't care for him as an actor either. I didn't care much for either Bush's voice the father, because like Reagan, he said words that were supposed to be uniting but were really saying something quite different, then when he nominated Clarence Thomas, I knew I was right, a hypocrite. Baby Bush just sounded out of his element. He often spoke as though he was reading something he only partly understood. Trump of course gives one exactly what he is, nearly all the time, a whiny white boy who thinks only of himself and who thinks the louder he speaks, the better and the more what he is saying will get through. I see none of those negatives in Harris's voice and I am grateful. I never heard any of those negatives in Bidens voice, even when he was struggling with speech. Sincerity and the voice of someone willing to fight for what he believes came through as well as a good sense of humor. Harris has that too. I hope you will come to appreciate her speaking voice and in particular, what she has to say.
Joe, and Kamala will not be as polite as Hillary Clinton was in any debate. She is used to facing a-holes in court and wouldn't let him stalk her and would have some choice words for him to back off and stay in his own lane, but said far more eloquently. She would terrify him. Since he has all the same old lines time after time, she could play on those lines, feeding back to him the garbage he is constantly pouring out on this nation through our media. I want to see that debate!
I don’t want to see any debate. There is zero purpose. It would be exactly the same as the last debate with Donald yelling insults with a mic turned off. There is no substance. It’s a joke. I would rather see the prep time devoted to campaigning. The VP could hold numerous rallies to bring people together in the week it takes to prep a debate. And with only one serious debate candidate, take that show on the road.
But contrary to Joe, Kamala is capable of forcefully refuting whatever lies he spews that she chooses (since they come out so fast, it's useless to try to rebut every one) & knocking him down flat. But I agree with others, it Trump knows what's good for him, he'll avoid any debate with Harris, unless he's hopelessly behind in the polls, & even then I'd bet on him not accepting a debate with her.
Trump has so many vulnerabilities, & has done & stands for so many awful things, so it's important that people are fully aware of at least the most egregious things. And remember he likes to conceal evidence & facts. Why? Because there are things he doesn't want us to know, that he's embarrassed about, that he's guilty of, from his college grades to his tax returns to his medical records to his many secret contacts with Putin & other Russian officials, agents & oligarchs, to the classified government documents he confiscated, some of which he passed onto other people, most likely including Putin & MBS, to whatever was in "Ivana's coffin" (speaking of Ivana, her suspicious but uninvestigated death is yet another matter whose details he's hiding), to the Epstein files (now we know why, since it substantiates rumors of Trump's sexual assault against underaged girls, which corporate mainstream media don't want to touch), to the postponed (likely ultimately cancelled) criminal trials of Trump, including the 3 most damaging ones -- his recorded pressure on Georgia officials to falsify election results on his behalf (1 of multiple such attempts on multiple states, but we hear almost nothing about the other states); his confiscation of top secret government documents that he kept at home in places accessible to many guests from all over the world, including China, Saudi Arabia, etc. (many in a room with a copier, which was likely used to copy the documents & send them to who knows whom); & his part in conceiving, planning, preparing, organizing & inciting the Capitol Insurrection & assassination attempts on his VP & the House Speaker among other high officials & to overturn the results of the 2020 election. So yes, we must get out such information, much of which many people either don't know or have been falsely made to believe are hoaxes, along with plenty of evidence supporting these facts.
At the same time, the Democrats have to point out the great successes of the Biden/Harris administration in spite of many challenges, including obstruction & sabotage from the Republican Party, their intention to continue this process, keeping many of the architects of this success, while dismissing some of those who haven't lived up to their duties, such as Merrick Garland & Louis Dejoy, to improve upon their weaknesses or failings (such as failure to hold accountable conspirators to violently overturn the 2020 election), to outline what they hope to accomplish in the future (including much further climate action, addressing economic injustice & wealth & power disparity, housing costs & homelessness, enhanced Medicare & Social Security, strengthening democracy & the judicial system, etc.). That's a tall task ahead of them, and Kamala Harris, or whoever is their nominee, will need help from her Democratic colleagues to make the case. But if they do it successfully, victory is inevitable.
But please choose wisely her running mate. Don't consider demographics or geographical location only, but make qualifications a centerpiece, including experience, competence, eloquence, wisdom, toughness, sharpness, integrity, character, ability to solve problems, and you will get someone whose qualifications are in such stark contrast to Trump & Vance that it should be easy for Democrats to win in a landslide, which they must do.
Darrell, yes, the media is a problem. I keep hearing it is because they are all corporate and maybe that is true. So, what are we going to do about it? Maybe the media would be roused for Democrats if there were a ticket like Harris-Sec. Pete (I don't have the spelling of his name down yet either even though I have tried often). They gave Trump all the attention in 2016 while they left Hillary Clinton hanging out to dry because she actually had ideas and wanted to make a positive difference for real people (boring). Maybe this time, the media will give attention to a team that would be great for our nation and unique, and note that Trump-Vance are just old hat and don't need to be covered much because there is nothing new. Maybe?
Ruth, I wish I could believe that the MSM would give good attention to Harris and her VP pick. I hadn't thought about Secretary Pete Buttigieg (wow, I got his spelling correct on the first try!), but I agree that he would be an excellent choice.
I have been here since Truman and listened to Cronkite and Rather because they told me truth. If media and the press ignore what Trump-Vance say, they are complicent in the lies. If they don't report what the Republicans are saying and pushing, then they are not serving the American people. The Republicans have made nastiness and criminality a performing art, rather than trying to serve America. Lester Holt and the rest have real trouble saying anything bad about Donald even though it is The Truth.
I agree that Pete would be a great VP(and future president) BUT as a gay man, he will face more challenges among some voters. An ethnic minority woman and a gay man--both extremely competent but each a challenge winning the moderate undecideds. Oh boy. Buit I am no prognosticator.
Just not the right time for someone this young and also not the right time to try to woo away from Trump with a gay male and a woman of colour both running at top posts. I have no issue with "Mayor Pete", his husband or family or any gay people whatsoever. But too many Americans still do for this to be a winning strategy. Needs to be someone who has a lot more experience running an entire state. I'd go for Bernie but no one else would support that given age/socialism etc. Don't know enough about the others to comment on who might do it.
I think the people that would object to Pete are Republicans so we don’t have to worry. He is a sharp wit, very intelligent & informed yet polite &,respectful.
Yes but some Republicans and many pretty fundamentalist Christians as well as some registered Independents ALSO need to find 'sanctuary" within the Democratic party for this vote to defeat Project 25 and also to defeat Trump. You have to be able to appeal to a wider range than only democrats to get rid of this true menace to Democracy. He is polite, he is a proven military service man, he has many excellent qualities. I think though he needs more experience in Congress, or Senate, or leading a state to be a VP with a new President who is also younger side. Think he might be fine IF it were not such a dicey situation and if he got more Governing experience. He should perhaps run for Governor in his home state in 2 years to get that sort of experience. Mayor and Cabinet Secretary are not the same sort of job as VP. Personally I like him. But I think someone with governing experience is also needed on this ticket besides former VP Harris.
I'll see what I can find on that but there are certain 'rules' and criteria in immigration and one has to have a certain number of "points" to do so...although probably not too hard from USA we have a lot of Americans living/working here in branch-plants often through transfers by companies. Here's the Canadian Government Immigration link:https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada.html. BUT we're not in great shape either these days; R wing on the rise here too in polls (Polievre). However if you have a skilled work trade or other qualifications it is certainly easier. Can get a visa to work here also I think. (4th-5th generation here, my folks came from n. UK c. 1830's-40's to early 20th C) You might want to make sure we get past our own 2025 elections w/o R wing takeover!! UK has Labour now, so perhaps...??
There are racists and misogynists every where every country every culture unfortunately. Just some places seem to be more biased this way. And some parties. Trump has unleashed this hugely in USA and Canada too alas!
No Canada...but I love Bernie...but I'm also a social democratic/democratic socialist (a lot of us here) so that's unusual. I don't think he'd be acceptable to America despite huge success in the past. Also perceived as too old too socialist.
Pete is our Man. Being gay is irrelevant here. I see him as a leader who can deliver solutions from the galloping destruction underway. Check his record in office and compare him to the other VP candidates. He speaks with clarity to any voter who can put our need above personal or religious bias. Step out in faith.
We'll have to stick with Kamala for now to be sure to win! I love Pete, but now isn't the time. He wouldn't run against Kamala as he knows how important THIS election is. And we MUST win so that we can fix the SCOTUS too. There will be a nice lineup in 2028, a ton of good democrats, both women and men that we're all familiar with who will be excellent for the job, and Pete may try running then.
I think Mark Kelly would be great. As far as I know he doesn't have any baggage. My one concern with him is what would happen to the senate makeup, since democrats are not easily elected in Arizona.
He is a fine man, but has one of the most conservative voting records of any Democrat in Congress. We need to get young people to vote, & I'm afraid Kelly won't do it. The far left who wouldn't vote for Biden, won't vote for Harris/Kelly, either. They'd need someone like Elizabeth Warren, Jeff Merkley or Jamie Raskin.
Very interesting. I didn't realize Kelly had such a conservative voting record. I love the idea of a Harris/Warren combo - the republicans wouldn't know what hit them.
I have to agree with you. There are many Good people that could run, but that should be in 2028, and by that time, we will have one helluva good line to pick from. Right now, we need to All stick together.
Mac, you are right about the challenges they would face, but maybe we need to shake some things up and get the complacent to actually start paying attention and to be gently confronted with a tiny bit of their personal biases when faced with two remarkable people who do try to speak with and for people who are struggling to be heard. Maybe that's how true positive change happens.
Good points, Ruth. After all, we did manage as a nation to gtow up enough to actually elect—and re-elect—a black man, something that would have seemed impossible a decade earlier! My top priority, though, is to beat Trump!!!
I think the racist buffoon has sowed division in our country over racism and let too many people get away with it for far too long. I think it’s worse now than than when Obama ran!
I worry tho' given the current unrest on campuses particularly among (ignorant at times some) youth that there'd be a backlash against Shapiro due to the war in Gaza right now. It is unjustified to attack anyone for their race or culture or religion or sex etc. yet we see it in our country and city every day here since the war began. It is frightening.
I hear what you are saying, but when I see and hear Josh Shapiro, all I see is a smart, caring, well-spoken, intelligent person. It makes me sad that people like him and Secretary Pete aren't seen as people just like everybody else. I hate that there is so much bigotry against gays, Jews, Blacks, Asians…
Agree completely it is very disturbing people aren't seen as just people these days; but look who you're fighting, the biggest racist misogynist in the country! Someone perhaps 'neutral' from a swing state, maybe, given the climate these days. I think he's good, he's known for working across the aisle and winning against big odds; but also only2 years as Governor I think?
My favorite choice, of the people I'm familiar with is Cory Booker, but we all know that wouldn't work. What I want to see is someone who would make a good president, and get them into the pipeline for the future.
Like Booker as well but hasn't been a Governor and think someone in charge of a State needed in this case to counter lack of experience charges by Trump & co.
I had a similar thought simply because of the times right now. Again, needs someone with experience and he certainly has this and is decent and known for reaching across the aisle/boundaries making bi-partisan deals etc. which is a good thing given the way the country's divided perhaps? I just think need someone who can carry the weight as VP would be good too.
no but innocent people w/o any particular bias are attacked literally and verbally even here a lot these days. Anti-semitism on the rise world wide too, not just N. Am. alas.
In our hearts we all wish Pete and Josh would be able to run for VP, but that might be a loosing ticket for us. I personally like them, but feel we need a stronger candidate from the Midwest
Right. Black, female and a gay guy. Real winning combination! I do love Kamela and Pete, but I live in the real, ugly world. The ONLY important thing is to destroy MAGA, not to get woke cred. Very sorry it is like that.
Linda, OMG! I had exactly the same idea. They would complement each other, both caring, kind, decent human beings, but each with a different style of getting things done! I don't know whom Harris will pick, but Pete was my first thought too.
I too am secretly hoping she picks Pete Buttigieg as her running mate, although with some caveats: the betting money currently seems to be on Democratic governors such as Josh Shapiro; there is also an argument to be made in favor of retaining the same cabinet.
Yes he did step right up…the right guy at the right time in the fall of 2020 and he righted this sinking ship of a nation.👏🏼 For that I will always be grateful. Now the rug has been pulled out from under us and yet again we WILL coalesce!👊🏼🗳️💙
Actually, our rug hasn't been pulled out from beneath us, if we choose Kamala as our nominee. She's already vice president. She's already got the people's vote. She has the legal right to her and Joe's joint war chest.
The Trump campaign is another matter. They are going to have to scrap their campaign strategy and start from scratch - particularly if Kamala is able to differentiate herself sufficiently from Hillary that the Trump campaign can't use their experience campaigning against Hillary as a starting point, and to avoid Hillary's errors.
Apart from the baggage that Hillary brought into the race, there's also the issue of Jim Comey and announcing another email investigation a couple of weeks before the election. I think that was the final straw in that election.
Karol, you just reminded me of the fact that Christopher Wray is also a republican. Hopefully he is a better person than Comey, who respects elections, and Ms. Harris doesn't have the same kind of baggage trailing her.
Joe Biden was and is and always will be one of nations. Greatest Presidents Of all of our history…it may take years but Kamala for President was always part of his legacy and status of selfless leaders… Joe will be missed but we still have him until January 20, 2025…her legacy will be second to no other in Our Joe’s Likeness!🇺🇸😎💙👩🏻🌵👍🏼🍀💪🏽
“Fellow countrymen: at this second appearing to take the oath of the presidential office there is less occasion for an extended address than there was at the first. Then a statement somewhat in detail of a course to be pursued seemed fitting and proper. Now, at the expiration of four years during which public declarations have been constantly called forth on every point and phase of the great contest which still absorbs the attention and engrosses the energies of the nation little that is new could be presented. The progress of our arms, upon which all else chiefly depends is as well known to the public as to myself and it is I trust reasonably satisfactory and encouraging to all. With high hope for the future no prediction in regard to it is ventured.”
Like Lincoln, this is a time to move forward and unify our nation and defeat the rise of fascism around the world. This is our time to rise up and become the New Greatest Generation. Thank you Mary for marching us towards victory with mallice towards none.
Thank you, Mary! I am hopeful, too. President Biden will be remembered as the right man at the right time for America! I am so pleased he continues to put the nation before himself. He is a true statesman! God bless him! Green light on Kamala!!! You go, girl!!!
Mac, and Biden isn't done yet. He has another 6 months left to see what can be done. I hope he will use the presidential immunity SC decision to send the ERA, already ratified by sufficient states, to the archivist and add it to the Constitution over the unconstitutional time limits placed on it by scared white men 40+ years ago. That would be a great going away present from him to all of us.
TRUMP and EVERY REPUBLICAN want a "NATIONAL ABORTION BAN" VPOTUS HARRIS will stick it up EVERY REPUBLICANS BEHIND!! EVERY FEMALE IN AMERICA MUST VOTER for VPOTUS HARRIS for POTUS! If the MEGA-RICH DONORS do NOT support VPOTUS HARRIS for POTUS we will abandon them!! We'll CAL EVERY ONE of THEM OUT as MYSOGINIST, RACISTS!! EVERY DEM and other VOTER MUST VOTE for VPOTUS HARRIS for POTUS!! Our DEMOCRACY, CONSTITUTION, FREEDOMS and RIGHTS are at STAKE!! SHARE WIDELY NOW if U DARE!!💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
I'm a registered Republican, but we were Eisenhower Republicans. I will vote blue this year; Kamala is an excellent choice, and she is young, experienced, and can deal with T's lies and bullying.
Thanks Jane for being country over party. Tell your friends! Stay brave!
Echoing!
That’s great news! Ppl like you can make the difference. My dad was a Republican, but not the kind I’d ever be embarrassed of. He passed pre DT, but if by some miracle he woke up, (LOL) he would not even recognize that party today. They are domestic terrorists.

Country over party should be on everyone's mind. All the time. Good for you
NOW: FEAR THE FEMALE VOTE, WE WILL BE VOTING W/ OUR UTERUS THIS NOVEMBER…! ;)
And we all know where that path leads . . .
You will never know.
Sure we do. Don't play coy.
Same here Jane, there is no relationship between MAGA and Republican
Thank you Jane for your love of country and for your courage.
Happy to read your post! And, so glad that people my age are being called young — This election has shown us, we can be from different parties but agree that democracy is good, and Harris will be a great president.
Thank you
God bless you Jane. It is not always easy yo stand up and say things need to change.
We need to value all perspectives and work together for our collective good and phenomenal country.
We do not need a group of hateful persons sowing discord, falsehoods and removing the rights of others.
Thank you for your willingness to choose us, as a collective, as a country. ❤️🇺🇸
Thanks again my fellow American!
Welcome Snd thank you!!
Good luck to VP Harris she has my full support and a shout out to Pres. Biden for a great term of office.
IWILL PROUDLY VOTE for VPOTUS HARRIS for POTUS!!
SAME.
YES, WE WILL!
World of many good Samaritans?
Just say that in normal small letters. I hate all CAPs posts.
Now, now! Your right but now is not the time to start hacking at each other over such a small error. We have much bigger fish to fry and we need all hands on board. :-)))
I ONLY HAVE THE USE OF ONE GOOD EYE. SORRY. I HAVE A TUMPR BEHIND THE OTHER.
Tumor. I can have the tumor removed but it means losing my eye so please keep your friggen comments to yourself you moron.
Really? Spells same word either way.m!
tough
Amen!

This "Reject Project 2025" t-shirt is great, too (love it!) 👇

Please, KEEP POSTING DIARYS ABOUT PROJECT 2025, and the THREAT IT POSES TO DEMOCRACY AND OUR NATION!
Let’s get to work. We have a Democracy to save.
I agree with you JP! Hurrah, Mary Trump who said everything I would have said if I had her audience
Unless we wipe out racism in our own party, Kamala will have a difficult time but on the other hand she is ten times the person Trump is and much better qualified to be president! I sincerely hope those who carry tht stigma will think long and hard and look to where the future is going to be.....free or Fascist!
T shirts should be in white. (More popular).
I am not a politico, but perhaps a winning strategy would be for Harris to go to her strength and PROSECUTE her opponent. He is so vulnerable on so many counts.
I agree , Hank. If Kamala’s president, she will bring convicted felon tRump to justice! If he wins, all the cases against him will be thrown out.😡
Thank you for the links!
You’re welcome! 😉
Not only do I support Harris but if top Dems do not get behind her and give her full support and show their typical self-infliction of wounds i will leave the party and just block all politics out of my life. I despise all Republicans from Nixon on. However, the behavior of self-important Dems disgusts me.
Jim, I think you are going to impressed with how serious Dems line up behind Harris and for the right fucking reasons.
I hope you're right, but I have my doubts.
So do I.
How about those doubts now?
I've been concerned about the D's for a long time. They better unite this time around or they will just be a foot note in history.
Easy for a white man to say with nothing to lose.
VP Harris has to be chosen as the Democratic nominee. That has not happened yet, so no certainty yet.
That’s hypocrisy speaking. First you destroy the man, then praise him for being the sacrificial lamb - as if he had a choice.
This is going to mess your Uncle up
You can say that again 😆
Warp factor 10…full speed ahead. Let’s change the future.
Love the Star Trek reference. Trekkie here. Let's build that kind of world.
Too bad the Ferengi have all the power world, though. They are worse than the Borg.
Engage! 🚀➡️➡️➡️
We can only hope but with the billionaires wanting Trump to get more tax breaks the media may not switch sides.
You should not be listening/watching/supporting sponsors of any toxic media.
There are alternate sites and alternate hosts to choose from. Ditch the corporate
controlled media.
🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯
Who cares? A vote is a vote, and they ain’t got nothing but money.
And the Coward/Felon probably won't debate her. You know he fears strong women.
Agree 💯 percent
In the big picture, there’s just not time to devote to Trump lies. It would take like 9 days. Screw that. Campaign.
That's why I say be selective.
Very well stated. Thank you President Biden!!! Vote VP Harris!!!! Get excited!
Thanks Mary for all you do. Well said
I think the best VP choice for her is Pete B. I can't spell it but he's a very strong candidate
Catherine, all I want to know right now how to emigrate to Canada without having to seek asylum.
Do you really believe All democrats are open minded? Do you live in California? There are racists even in CA.
Josh Shapiro is absolutely the best out there ~ Hope he gets nominated ~ we would have a real fighting chance if so ! ! !
The betting money is actually currently on Shapiro. And the betting odds are surprisingly predictive of what will actually happen....
I saw a suggestion that Capt Mark Kelly would make a great VP, military, astronaut, senator. Also that he gets along well w Kamala
Please! Not Bernie! He is even older than Biden. Besides I despise his selfish attitude.
I have to agree with you. There are many Good people that could run, but that should be in 2028, and by that time, we will have one helluva good line to pick from. Right now, we need to All stick together.
I like to think Josh Shapiro would be a good VP pick.
But you ARE! Even a Cassandra!
Gov Shapiro! We need to WIN PA!
I don't think a woman of color and a Jew could win at this time, unfortunately, and I say that as a Jew descended from Shapiros.
I agree.
Completely agree, Trump has unleashed racism not seen since the 1960's in America.
You think? He's already governor, and it could help them win Pennsylvania, which is a swing state...
Yes, I think, especially considering all the controversy over Gaza.
Ah, yes, there is that... I hadn't thought of that angle. Although then again, does he have any known Zionist activist tendencies?
https://whyy.org/articles/pennsylvania-josh-shapiro-israel-gaza-protests-palestine-executive-order/
no but innocent people w/o any particular bias are attacked literally and verbally even here a lot these days. Anti-semitism on the rise world wide too, not just N. Am. alas.
I agree! Pets Butigieg would be excellent!
A WOC and a lgbtq? A recipe for disaster. A white Christian male may give her a small chance of getting elected but I won’t hold my breath.
Unfortunately I have to agree with you
Well, you could also say that we now have a much less slippery rug underneath us. I prefer grippy rugs, especially during a dark icy winter.
That plus Russia was not a good combination for our country!
Unfortunately, in today's day and age, we have to treat Russia as a given, and have an explicit strategy to deal with it effectively.
True. We have to figure out how to ensure there isn't a repeat performance of that situation with Comey.
Lincoln's Second Inaugural Address
And, the opposite of what Trump says of him, Biden will be remembered as one of the best and most effective Presidents.
Good points.
Yes please!
And trump is the one that fits the description of worst President ever!
As Peewee Herman says"I know you are but what am I!"
trump is into projection. Of course he's describing himself, because himself is all the ever talks about.
Please can you Not use all CAPs? It hurts my eyes. I stopped reading your post after the first two lines.
Jeez, sensitive eyes???
And it makes you look stupid & hyperactive. RIGHT?!?!
IMHO, some people are underestimating Harris. She is a prosecutor and she will treat the GOP Nominee as the perpetrator he is.
It’s not about whether she is good. It’s about the racism and anti women culture . Those are big hurdles to overcome.
There are more women than men in America! The women will save us!
If the majority of women remember to stick together!
My feeling is a VP like Mark Kelly will help balance the ticket.
We women, more than ever, need to stick together to fight the bias against them and the continued racism that is still prevalent.
Thank you Mary. I am deeply grateful to President Biden and feel certain we are going to rock this election.
I will vote blue no matter what
