It must be killing Trump to compete with an attractive, super successful "just turned black " woman, 20 years his junior, who went to public school and brilliantly worked her way up to her "black job" as vice president .

The reason the tangerine turd went to NYMA is, if he hadn't, the kindly state of New York would have tossed him into juvi. He cold cocked his music teacher and he had a penchant for truancy and carrying switchblades. All of the above should have put him into the juvenile court system. We will never know how much Fred paid to keep that from happening. New York Military Academy was not the kind of prep school one would really want their child to attend. It specialized in keeping young thugs out of the penal system. If daddy had not been a Fascist millionaire, Don-OLD would have been your run of the mill punk. You, know a real loser. There would have been no money to, allegedly, "encourage" someone else to take his SATs so he could slither into Penn (probably with a little sweetener on the side) or to keep him in the limos he had to borrow from his daddy or to pay off his IOUs to various banks, etc, etc, etc. He would just have been one of your average Queens thugs. You know, a Bridge and Tunnel creep who couldn't get into Studio 54.

Thank you for this information, Carol-Ann. I knew he went to a military academy because of being unruly, but what you've said really scary. No wonder he watched the J6 riot for hours, enjoying it.

I agree. In thinking about this last night I realized that the switchblades were probably props to enhance his image as a bully. He would never have had the courage to use them.

It's surprising he couldn't get into Studio 54. Roy Cohn did I believe and it seemed money was THE requirement for membership/entrance

He was garish. He got in with Roy, but not by his own volition.....just like the limos, Fred had to lease them for him. His credit rating was zilch. Yes, he got in....he was the "guest" of Cohen. Cohen was the attorney for Club 54's owners! That's business, no they wouldn't have let him in either if he hadn't been their attorney!

Very interesting. He used Cohen, of course Cohen used everyone!

Thanks for that news.

The last name of Cohen is sometimes spelled Cohn; either way it traces back to Moses' brother Aaron who was the first priest, so we call them the priestly class. But this guy was a traitor to his own heritage. Jews have done without our own kings (later, priests too) about 2,800 years ago and slowly with countless adaptations to outside rulers, finally because of need and inclination founded the first rabbinic schools. In a way you could say we elect our rabbis and while they are held in respect and sometimes awe, they don't pretend to speak for God, they are all teachers and interpreters and guides.

No not really I think it was who you knew could invite you to go with them I was a New York city elementary school teacher-living on Central park West and 76th St - a slim trim-blond with a fashion sense who one day was introduced to the Dupont twins who invited me to go with them to Studio 54 Later I met some artists -photographer's who frequented 54 and they would invite me and soon I got recognized and could walk in. Being there was fun- great music - dancing and a memorable people meeting and watching experience and happy to have fallen into such luck.

You were a slim blond with a fashion sense. Of course you got in. A single, good looking woman was always welcome. Don-OLD was brash, he was uncouth, he didn't bring anything to the party so to speak and he was just another Bridge and Tunnel guy.

I lived in New York during the heyday. I lived on the Upper East Side. Yes, I knew the scene, no I wasn't a regular - not my style. Yes, I did it once with friends, we showed up in a limo.....no questions were asked and in we went. The convict just wasn't the right vibe. It always had to be about him. I mean a Queens slum lord nepo traveling with body guards? That is not 54 style.

Agree with you I did not make 54 my first choice since there were some other really nice places to go to other than 54 because the VERY mixed sometimes wild crowd there could be a bit much at times. I think most of us knew the Donald was not on the better who who's list at that time i think he resented that and wanted to be President for revenge against NY City not really accepting him.

I sooooo agree with you. After what he did to the Bonwit Teller buillding and just his basic crudeness - to say nothing of his blatant racism.....As a British friend of mine used to say when discussing the Donalds of the world. NQOT, darling. Not Quite Our Type. Snobby? Yes. Accurate? Without a doubt.
