I had an odd few days. I’d planned to go away for a couple of weeks; not a vacation, exactly—work would be coming with me—but to get away; connect with friends; take very, very long walks in nature. I am quite familiar with the phrase “wherever you go, there you are,” and I know the trip may not have had the desired results, but I was confident that a change in scenery would have been a much needed jump-start.
Two days before my flight, I broke a couple of toes and had to cancel the trip. C’est la vie. (Although that is not what I said when I broke my toes.)
So, I decided to take a metaphorical step back in order to look at the bigger picture—about where we are as a country; where we are as a party; what I want to accomplish and how best to accomplish it; and how to be as effective as possible across as many platforms as possible in the new phase of this fight we find ourselves in.
Essentially, it was infrastructure week at Mary Trump Media.
I’ll be back to normal posting here tomorrow. Tonight, Ask Mary Anything within Reason starts at 6:00 p.m. ET over at the YouTube channel. You can leave questions in the live chat over there. Hope to see you there!
I'd ask if you kicked your uncle in the head but considering his head is empty, it simply would caved in and you wouldn't have broken your toes!
I’ve been wondering if you were all right, since I haven’t seen anything from you lately on Substack. I’m sorry about your injury. I’m looking forward to seeing you on this evening’s Ask Mary Anything!
