Gore (& Clinton) should've challenged the spurious SCOTUS decision to halt the Florida count (ordered by the Florida Supreme Court) that would've eventually shown him winning the state, & therefore the election (according to the electoral college), which he already had won by the popular vote.
Imagine how much better off we would be now had Gore, who knew the dangers of global heating & would've acted on it, thus saving us a lot of suffering down the road, instead of Bush, and Hillary instead of the traitorous sadonarcissist Trump, had both become president.
