Mary, I studied to be a psychologist, too. For various reasons, after 2 attempts and 6 years of college as an honor student, I never actually graduated. The one thing I couldn't handle in my studies was Statistics. But I've spent my adult life counseling for free, simply from caring. I think the fact that you are a psychologist is perfect for helping us get whatever understanding we can about your uncle. As far as I can tell, he is profoundly psychologically damaged. I just wish someone would do an intervention on him. I wish that had been done while he was still in office, making it clear to everyone how damaged he is. You are so brave in exposing him, and I think you do it at great risk to yourself, so BRAVO to you! You are so easy to love.
We lived on Front Street across from Mr. Herrishoff’s Castle. It was a great place to head past the castle and down on the rocks to hide from the school’s truant officer. The other people who kept out looking for us from the tug boat would just wave and say hi. I learned years later that there was no truant officer.
There is a house in Marblehead where a pilot lived with his wife and a daughter. I think other pilots and family have lived there for the convenience to Logan. The family I knew were unlike the others nearby with regard to their discussions and the way they valued the presence of a daughter, my friend from school. I often ate dinner there and played games. We studied together and I learned the names of things she had in her room that I did not have like a silky comfy chez where she read books and listened to music. One day she told me they were moving, and she was going to a new school where she would stay until she went to college. I had to leave too. We never saw each other again. The house had new people living there, but I found the memories of the house and my friend sustained me for a few difficult years.
I likely road when your dad flew. I’m looking forward to moving back to Marblehead. Like most these days I was born in Salem but a parent could request the town council to make us official Headers.
That didn’t sound quite right. I meant to say that I likely flew with your dad on occasion. My parents were great about letting me fly for interviews and such. Or maybe they liked the quiet when I was gone!
Your address was news in the real estate section of the WSJ. You are a notable person paying x amount of money in a notable building. Therefore, in their myopic eyes, newsworthy.

I'm not sure the quote is accurate but I love it.
That's pretty, Mary.
I saw you on MSNBC last night - I love it when they have you on!
Thanks, Diane!

Soothingly serene. I can smell the sea. ❤️
And me as well. I’m originally from Marblehead, MA and miss waking up to the sound of the ocean.
I love Marblehead. My parents lived there when my dad flew for TWA out of Logan.

Beautiful! Saw you on MSNBC. You give me hope with your humor, knowledge, humanity. Thank you!
Thanks, Helen!
Mary. The Wall Street Journal just published your address. Bastards
That's frightening! Mary, be SAFE!!
I am. Thanks, Diane.
I would file legal action immediately against the Wall Street Journal for this breach of your privacy! Bastards? Yes!
They were awful, terrible, horrible, terribly intrusive!
Not sure how my address is news.

We just like making a fuss.
I doubt there's anything I can do, but thanks.
So peaceful
Goodnight and thank you for being you!
Thanks, Erik!
Looks like Bermuda or an island in the Caribbean.
Turks and Caicos--so beautiful and quiet.
