Hair dyed, wrapped back and forth to conceal his baldness and then sprayed into place. Facial blotches covered (less and less completely, I've noticed lately) with delusionally "tan"--really? orange--cake makeup. Overweight midsection obscured by a mid-twentieth century notion of "slimming" garmenture, from the flappy pants to the too-long jacket to the truly absurd ties, all of which make him look more desperate and pathetic than trim and virile.
But that's only to us. His fans share the delusion he is Superman. If only he too believed it himself. Maybe then he could leave the rest of us alone.
Is it possible that DJT in his mind, or whatever is left of it, sees hallucinations of crowds when he waives at them when no crowds are actually present? Is it possible that such hallucinations have crowded out everything else in his mind but hatred and old memories? I’m aware that some forms of dementia involve hallucinations and that older memories are sometimes accessible but in fragments that may not make sense when spoken. Similarly, anger or hatred can remain active and such a person’s behavior would resemble madness similar to an enraged animal suffering from some sort of brain virus like rabies or mad cow disease.
