Iowa Showed Donald's Weakness!

I caught key data that most of the media missed last night on Donald’s Iowa results… It’s made me realize that NOW is the time to launch my 2024 nationwide campaign to stop Donald from winning the general election, and destroying our country. Read on for details, and learn how to join me.👇

On its face, the fact that a twice-impeached, 91-count-criminal-indicted defendant, and established rapist won the first major primary contest in 2024 – particularly with headlines like “runaway victory” and a “stunning show of strength” – is absolutely horrifying.

There is, of course, a reason for that: You and most decent Americans who value our democracy know that Donald has to be kept as far away from the White House as humanly possible, and it would be preferable—and safer—if he were in an orange jumpsuit by November.

Knowing how awful he is, seeing Donald win anything just seems too much to bear.

But have no fear: As I looked more closely at the Iowa data (the actual numbers beyond just what the media reported) I felt something I haven’t felt in a while: hope – hope that we can derail Donald’s campaign, with a campaign of our own, which I’m launching TODAY.

Inspiring Data: Low turnout

Despite the fact that high turnout was predicted for the 2024 Iowa caucus, turnout was very low, with only 110,000 voters participating – one of the lowest turnouts in 24 years. In comparison, nearly 187,000 GOP voters participated in 2016.

The 110,000 voters who showed up account for less than 15% of Iowa's 752,000 registered Republicans.

Significant: 49% of Caucusing Republicans did NOT choose Donald

Sure, Donald won Iowa, but almost 50% of Republican voters who bothered to show up for the caucus chose someone else. And in case you think all these voters would turn around and vote for Donald in the general election if he’s the nominee, note this: almost half of Haley’s supporters say they would vote for Biden over Trump, according to a new poll.

“(Trump) looks very vulnerable. It’s just a single datapoint, but this spells disaster for him in the general election,” Alexander Vindman wrote on Twitter. “Almost 50% of a hardcore Republican electorate is not interested in what he’s pedaling. Not sure why the media is missing this,” he concluded.

It’s… Iowa

Even The New York Times had to admit that Iowa isn’t much of a big deal, explaining that “the results in solidly red Iowa don’t offer meaningful clues for the 2024 general election.”

Why, yes. Iowa’s population is barely over 3 million people, and it’s 85% white.

Even more good news

Highly regarded political strategist Simon Rosenberg agreed, highlighting the fact that Donald is “weak, not strong”

Here was his summary:

– 35% to 40% of Republicans are NOT supporting Donald nationally.

– The majority of Republicans are NOT with Donald in the early states.

– The GOP has meaningfully splintered.

– Donald is polling at “Olympian negatives,” making it impossible for him to win the general election.

– Donald is only polling at 37% in New Hampshire (Nikki Haley is at 33%).

To me, this data shows good news: AMERICANS are not monsters; people in both parties are running away from Donald.

But we are surrounded by monsters, and these monsters can easily take away our democracy, by taking advantages of glaring weaknesses in the system, like the Electoral College, an all-out assault from the right wing on the Voting Rights Act, as well as Republicans’ willingness to lie, cheat, and steal their way to power.

Donald’s vulnerabilities aside, he still has the entirety of the Republican Party, and its willingness to do whatever it takes to get him back into the Oval Office, supporting him.

That’s why we need to pull out all of the stops this year to make sure Donald loses, we take back the House, and win a meaningful majority in the Senate this November.

The corporate media has proven they either can’t or won't get the truth out. So, those of us who have a platform to do so must do everything we can to fill that void… people like me.

So… It’s GO time

2. Win over swing voters
3. Wake up Republicans who are currently lukewarm on Donald, to the point where they are so informed (and thus horrified) that they just can’t bring themselves to vote for Donald or anyone of his fascist enablers.

Hitting the road and ramping up our efforts worked in 2020. It’s even more urgent now. We need to go bigger.

America remains on a knife’s edge between democracy and fascism. There is too much at stake to pretend otherwise.
