Moss awarded: $16,998,000

Freeman awarded: $16,171,000

Punitive damages:

Total: $75 million

Here’s why Giuliani’s decision not to testify may have been a deciding factor:

Through a spokesperson, Giuliani announced he was canceling his court appearance, and would not go on the witness stand to testify in his $48 million defamation case brought against him by two Georgia election workers.

The move promised to leave jurors scratching their heads, as according to NBC News reporter Ryan J. Reilly, Giuliani’s attorneys promised them they’d hear from him directly.

Here’s why we should all MOCK Rudy:

The real reason Giuliani didn’t testify is he seems to suffer from the same ailment afflicting my uncle: they just can’t seem to keep themselves out of trouble whenever they open their mouths.

Just this week outside the courthouse, Giuliani doubled down on his lies with the press, declaring, “everything I said about (the women) is true… they were engaged in changing votes.”

That led to Judge Howell scolding Giuliani’s attorney and warning him that Giuliani's comments were “defamatory statements about them yet again.”

On the stand, he would have surely perjured himself in the same way, digging his hole even deeper.

But it gets worse for Rudy:

Giuliani’s decision not to testify could have backfired, if the jury held it against him. Of course he’s not required to testify, but they surely noticed his attorneys broke their promise. And there was a lot at stake.

Although I have long been vocal about how much of my uncle’s wealth is smoke and mirrors, Giuliani is no Donald. For him, $148 million is a catastrophic sum of money. In fact, - total even close to that, say his attorneys, would be the “civil equivalent of the death penalty.”

What now?

Rudy will pay a tremendous price for holding water for my uncle.

While he could have gone down in history as “America’s Mayor”, he instead will be remembered simply as one more pathetic man who who lost everything, solely for the promise of being Donald’s lapdog.

And he deserves it.
