Donald’s name could be on a prison
While everyone I know is counting down the days until Donald ends up in a prison, today we got news his name could soon be on one.
Per NBC News, in response to a group of Republicans proposing an absolutely ridiculous bill to rename Washington Dulles International Airport after Donald, three Democratic congressmen have introduced legislation to rename a federal prison after him instead.
The bill is offered by Gerry Connolly of Virginia, Jared Moskowitz of Florida, and John Garamendi of California.
If the bill passes, the Miami Federal Correctional Institution in Florida would be renamed the “Donald J. Trump Federal Correctional Institution.”
Gerry Connolly held nothing back:
“When our Republican colleagues introduced their bill to rename Dulles after Donald Trump, I said the more fitting option would be to rename a federal prison,” Connolly said. “I hope our Republican friends will join us in bestowing upon Donald J. Trump the only honor he truly deserves.”
Jared Moskowitz was equally bold:
“Everyone knows President Trump loves to write his name in gold letters on all his buildings,” Moskowitz said. “But he’s never had his name on a federal building before and as a public servant I just want to help the former president. Help us make that dream a reality.”
Even a prison naming would be too good for him. A urinal in a Jersey Turnpike rest area would be better suited.
