I feel as if the rules are not only different for women in politics but Dems in politics too. The Republicans are held to a much lower standard by the press than the Democrats. We know this by the way both Biden and Harris have been treated versus Donald. So my new working theory is they don't know how to handle Donald after all these years still. Same way most Americans don't know how to handle death well and say silly things at a funeral like "there are no words" and "I wish I knew what to say" etc. And honestly who can blame them, after 9 years of nothing like we have ever seen in our democracy what is there to say as we have watched the damage and demise of our democracy as the Republicans do all they can to shut it down. Thank you Mary for keeping the lights on.
Harris has been busy explaining her positions to the people in swing states, so the "media" whinges she isn't preferentially providing THEM with "exclusive" opportunities to massage her statements into product for their publications. When they DO get the chance to ask, they only want to talk about Trump or throw "gotcha" questions framed to elicit answers they can make into scandal or "issues".
It doesn’t matter! She will say whatever it takes to get the presidency. The Democratic Party has been taken over by members of the American communist party! Their goal is to destroy free America. HUSIEN Obama said during his dictatorship that he was going to change America. That was such a sad day due to the fact millions of Americans cheered him on. Kamala has actually been doing a job for the American people the last 3 1/2 years. She is part of a very successful administration. I guess if she had been sitting at her Country Club for 3 years eating cheeseburgers, the less would require nothing more of her!
I am totally disgusted with the mainstream media. They keep looking for something to disparage in the only candidate who has a positive track record - not to mention a brain! And a heart! - when they should be lifting her up, reporting on what she has been doing in her work supporting the Biden administration policies that have generally been substantive and successful for progress in this country.
Trump is so dangerous in every way. His policies are non existent, as is his character,his integrity, and his soul.
