I understand that. The need to be home wherever that is and however we define that has become even more essential. A safe haven a place where we can trust, and feel we can be ourselves .

I too am feeling less willing to venture out! These have been strange almost 3 years. I recharging my batteries right now and reflecting a lot right now. I am part of the activist group called the Atelier at Gaia (found by Elizabeth Cronise McLaughlin - leadership guru, lawyer, author) -- it's a fantastic community, great place to share ideas and collaborate and anyone can join), and we are talking about "reinvention" -- who are we really and how can we make a difference. I wish I could attend your show, Mary, but alas I'm in Portland. I hope you make it up here next year. Thanks for all you are doing for our Democracy and to make the world a better place.

I have also become more introverted since March, 2020.

Good luck in LA!

I get what you are saying, and I feel the same, quite content to stay home and not venture out much. Also I imagine you miss your furry/feathered friends! :)

Sitting in peaceful safe Australia I am aghast at some of the Crapp going on in your country and I admire your attitude and the message you are sending. Stay safe and have a merry one. Will James

It is good to hear I am not the only one! In my case, I am super high risk due to several vulnerability factors. It scares me that the world seems to be going on as usual sans masques when virises are more active and proliferating. No concern for vulnerable people. Home is the only " safe" place . I sometimes drive out into the landscape to look at mountains just to put in an appearance in the world.

Driving is a wonderful way to get out there. It's helpful to see scenery and the possibilities of places to go and wander around. I am with you re the disregard for people with vulnerabilities (I have several). Take care!

For me there is an up side to Covid; I learned how to live with myself and put solitude to good use. I didn't have to put up with people I don't like. I really appreciated and enjoyed the people I do like. I found a team if two cleaning ladies who practically sterilized my house, even dusted my CDs inside and out and the windows! I had to tap the windows to be sure they were there.

Since the pandemic, my twin sister and I who live together have become home bodies and love it, love the quiet. We are content at home with our cat and dog. We are Extroverts.

I grew up an only child, but not a lonely one, and use to being on my own. But, you are so right, my introversion is even more pronounced. Although others consider me highly social, Covid gave me excuse to hibernate and do what I like. So, I've been using the time for research and writing. Enjoy your stay in LA and thanks for sharing.

I'm an only child as well and and used to being on my own - preferring it at times. I'm also an introvert and while I was pleased the lockdown didn't affect me negatively at the time, I did not count on going back out once the lockdown lifted to be so difficult! Good on you that you are using your time for enrichment!
